**Laura Ashley Umbrella Contest**

My Mom and I used to go to the Laura Ashley store in Yorkville (it must have been as far back as the 80's) and swoon over the lightly patterned fabrics and the wonderful clothing, bedding and accessories.

This amazing line has swelled into an entire lifestyle brand offering everything from made-to-measure curtains and blinds to umbrellas.

And speaking of umbrellas, haven't you always wanted a really great one? One that feels good in your hand and is pretty and stylish?

Check out the gorge one pictured above. The Garden Umbrella from the Floral Collection (valued at approx $30) is an umbrella you wouldn't dare leave behind. Super tall, it reaches just below my waist - classic style - and it's incredibly wide overhead - you'll feel like you're sitting under a patio umbrella. Fantastic! It has a lovely matte handle that also happens to be comfortable (especially important now that a short thunderstorm can transform in an all-day monsoon).

The Isadora Charcoal floral pattern is feminine but understated - for those of us who don't like busy patterns, but want something striking and pretty (simple pattern, clean lines) this is the perfect brolly.

An automatic opening makes it a breeze to open at a moment's notice, so you never have to fumble or fret like you're used to doing with other bumpershoots. The wind resistant frame will stand up to the crazy gale force winds that we've been getting (I can't say the same about your hair) and in a completely unprecedented design move, there is a decorative inner lining (in soft charcoal) to keep you extra dry and protected - how amazing!

In other words, it's the best umbrella for today's extreme weather conditions, but it's also extremely attractive, so you'll actually feel good toting it around with you. I certainly do!

And lucky for you, I've got one to give away! Brother Canada ( a company that manufactures sewing machines), has extended its exclusive partnership with legendary lifestyle brand Laura Ashley. They have launched the Limited Edition Isodore Innov-ís 5000 (pictured below), the latest in a series of limited-edition, high-tech sewing and embroidery machines.

To celebrate the launch of this innovative machine, they are offering you a chance to win this amazing umbrella.
